[Blind-rollers] New NFB Listserv in Spanish for Spanish Speakers

We are pleased to be able to announce another first for NFBNet.  We are starting a new list called nfbespanol-talk.  

This list will provide subscribers information about the National Federation of the Blind and serve as a forum to discuss blindness-related issues in Spanish.  
 
Esta lista proveerá a los subscriptores con información sobre la Federación Nacional de Ciegos y servirá como foro para discusión en español sobre temas
relacionados con la ceguera.

While parts of this message are in English, please note that the intention is that the majority of the discussion on nfbespanol-talk will be in Spanish.  Below is some information about the list.


 
 Esta nueva lista de carteo electrónico de National Federation of the Blind —Federación Nacional de Ciegos— es a la vez un comienzo y una continuación.
Es un comienzo porque por primera vez la NFB se proyecta oficialmente en otra lengua que no sea el inglés.  Es una continuación porque a través de ella
continuaremos llevando el mismo mensaje positivo que hemos llevado sobre la ceguera.   Estamos seguros que la información que podamos compartir con todo
el que advenga a esta lista, le servirá para romper con muchos mitos sobre los ciegos y la ceguera.  ¡Bienvenidos!
 
This new listserv of the National Federation of the Blind is both a new beginning and a continuation of our efforts to extend our positive message about
blindness to the Spanish-speaking community. It is a new beginning because, for the first time, blind Spanish-speakers will be able to connect through
this list to discuss blindness-related topics completely in Spanish! A continuation because we will work to carry on the NFB’s positive message about blindness
with everyone. We hope that you find all the hope and resources that you need to help overcome some of your blindness-related obstacles. Welcome!
