Hi list members, ken here. an idea popped in to my head about doing a meet
the blind event at a local school for handicapped children and a center for
adults with handicapped. just thought of a Goalball demo as part of it. but
don't know if in fact we may or may not do anything there. does anyone on
list know if Goalball or maybe five a side football has been adapted for
wheelchair users? Know about wheelchair Basketball but not the others. Remember
wheelchair soccer being played at an Olympics event for United cerebral palsy
in 1976. It had to be indoors because it rained and the afternoon events and
evening events moved to the Fieldhouse at Springfield college. They played
eight a side three forwards, three defenders, And two midfielders. Anyone
have thought on this? Ken.

I pledge to participate actively in the efforts of the national federation
of the blind to achieve equality, opportunity, and security for the blind; to
support the policies and programs of the federation; and abide by it's
constitution.
