Passionate Focus 2006: The Guild for the Blind (Chicago) is currently
accepting applications for Passionate Focus 2006, the Guild's annual juried
art exhibit by artists who are blind or visually impaired.  The deadline for
applications is Friday, July 7, 2006.  This year's jury is comprised of
broadcast journalist for arts and culture

Victoria Lautman, artist Dan Peterman and Museum of Contemporary Art curator
Lynne Warren.  Passionate Focus 2006 will be on view from October 12 -
November 19 in the gallery of the 4th Presbyterian Church, Chicago.  To

The Guild for the Blind serves individuals who are blind or visually
impaired, including those with new vision loss.  The Guild strives to
promote positive attitudes about visual impairment and to assist its members
in achieving dignity and independence at home, in the workplace and in the
community.
