[Art_beyond_sight_learning_tools] Jernigan Institute Needs Your Ideas

Dear NFB members,

The Jernigan Institute is developing a leadership handbook as part of our TOPS
Initiative (Training & Organizing People to Serve).  Our goal is to pull
together the best ideas for fundraising, public education, and other activities
that have been implemented at the state and local level and share them with each
other.

We want you to share with us the good ideas your chapters and divisions have
implemented in the following areas:

1. local and statewide fundraising initiatives
2. local and statewide public education initiatives
3. Strategies for recruiting new members
4. strategies for building leadership capacity within our membership
5. Innovative activities for chapter meetings
6. books on leadership that have had an impact on you

Friday, July 29.

If you have any ideas for other information that might be useful to include in
the handbook, please also feel free to email me.
