Dear Friends:
We are looking for support materials (first choice: research papers and
evaluations; second choice: model programs; third choice: testimonies) that
will show the tangible benefits of art education, making art, exposure to
art and variety of visual information for blind people.
Among the tangible benefits are
* Braille literacy
* Orientation and mobility skills
* cognitive development
* sensory development: tactile skills, fine motor skills, etc.
* academic skills: vocabulary, language skills, critical thinking skills
* employment prospects for blind adults
* socialization and communication skills, cooperative learning
* mental health benefits for seniors and others
Thank you very much for your help.
