TOGETHER WE CAN DO THIS

THE CHALLENGE:  To raise $100,000 for the Imagination Fund in ten days.

THE TEAM:  All Federationists...Leaders, activists, and proud supporters
of the National Federation of the Blind.

THE PERSONAL GOAL:  Raise at least $250, whether you are planning to
come to national convention to march for independence or not.
Better yet, up the ante and raise at least $1,000 before June 20.

THE REWARD:  Knowing that together we have accomplished something
incredible.  Making sure your name is,  "in the hat" to win one of the
fabulous prizes that will be drawn at convention.  Those who raise
$1,000 by June 20 will be included in the knfbREADER Mobile package
drawing.

THE STRATEGY:  Send at least ten e-mails to people you know.  Ask them
to contribute by credit card through the Web site.  Create an e-mail and
send it to your colleagues so that you can role-model for them how you
are making it your asks.
Make at least ten phone calls to family and friends this week asking
them for a $35 contribution.  Make sure the mini march cards are in your
pocket and hand at least five out this week.  Ask people to make an
immediate contribution.  Call at least ten NFB colleagues.  Tell them of
your personal goal.  Tell them to join the excitement.  Ask them to join
the effort.

THE HISTORY:  Raising $100,000 in ten days will be an historical
accomplishment.  Be a part of it.  I firmly believe we can do this.
Some of us have been putting off our effort this year.  We must make up
for it now.  Will you help?
This year's march will be an extraordinary event.  March with us.  Raise
at least your $250 and earn your t-shirt displaying your NFB pride as we
march the streets of Dallas together.  When we raise $100,000 by Friday,
June 20, it will surely be a cause to celebrate as we march together on
July 2.

THE REASON: We all know that our work truly changes lives.  If we are
honest, we will admit how it has changed ours.
