I did call Verizon to make sure manuals are available, and unfortunately,
the form that is used to order such manuals, only allows Braille copies for
the LG 8300.
I tried that LG website and got no where with it.
I don't know why the other Verizon rep didn't tell me about the limitations.
?
I'm sorry for the news.
?
Perhaps T-Base will be helpful.

Hi,
Well, the Verizon store here told me yesterday that I had to call LG.
I did that today, and they say they don't have it. Do you have the
number and extension of the person at Verizon I should talk to?

Just call them and ask them for it.

It took about 3
days
for it to get to me.
The MP3 player is very simple to use.
?
If you'd like info on how to use
it,
contact me directly via e-mail.

Hi,
They are about the same. I spent a lot of time with five phones
yesterday. The 9900 opens like a book rather than from the top.
Verizon is having sale on the 8300. After my rebate, it will cost me
nothing. I forgot what the 9900 would have cost, but I think it was
going to be at least $100, anyway. I have been a Verizon subscriber
for a long time, so this came with a new contract.
