[Arizona-students] AABS Roster September 2007

Hi all,

The elected AABS board will, of course, need to meet at some point to
decide what kind of official AABS seminars, socials, or other events
to plan for the year. However, as I always emphasized when I was
president, you don't need to wait for an official board meeting to
organize a social event. If you want to plan a social event and
include the AABS membership in it, just come up with a date, time, and
location and post the information to the list--it's that simple! I
know that many of you had specific ideas for socials that you proposed
at convention, so if you want to take on one of those and organize it,
nothing's stopping you...Even if you don't feel like organizing an
event on your own, just post your idea to the list (like Ryan did with
the water park idea) and if there's enough interest, the group will
make it happen!
The board can't plan events unless they know what the division wants
to do, so don't hesitate to speak your minds!
