Hi Arielle,

In that case I'd vote for Big Surf on the afternoon of August 25.  I 
strongly feel we should stick with Saturdays as transportation options are 
more limited on Sundays and some have jobs and/or classes during the week... 
:)

Subject: [Arizona-students] Water Park Outing!


Hello, AABS listers and others on our announcement list,



            Lately on our discussion list we have been talking about going
to a local water park as a group as a social and, if possible, traveling to
and/or



from the water park on the city bus. The park to be chosen is still up for
discussion, but some people have suggested Big Surf in Tempe, which is right



on the 81 (Hayden/McClintock) bus line.



            We need to decide when to hold the event. Again, this is up for
discussion, but I would strongly recommend not holding the event during one



of our NFB local chapter meetings. The Phoenix and West Valley chapters both
meet in the morning, so it is possible for us to hold the event on Aug. 4



or Aug. 25 and do it in the afternoon. (Someone, please alert me if this is
interfering with any Tucson chapter events). The East Valley chapter meets



in the afternoon on Jul. 21 or Aug. 18, so it'll be harder to avoid these
meetings if we go on those days.



            So, if you're interested in going to the water park, please
reply to this email expressing your interest and also sharing your
preferences for



dates and whether you'd prefer Big Surf or a different water park. Remember,
we aren't limited to Saturday-if the majority wants to go on a Sunday or
weekday,



that can be arranged.



            I look forward to hearing everyone's thoughts on this.
