[Arizona-students] AABS Seminar Reminder

Hello everyone,

 

            Just a reminder that the Arizona Association of Blind Students
will be holding our fourth annual spring seminar on Saturday, March 24, from
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 2000 W. Bethany Home Rd. in Phoenix. It will be
at the Phoenix Baptist Hospital. The nearest crossstreets are 19th Ave. and
Bethany Home Rd. which is a stop on the Red Line bus. It is also accessible
via Phoenix Dial-a-Ride.

 

            At the seminar we will be talking about the latest advances in
technology and media access for blind students, as well as other issues
which blind students face and ways to get involved in the organized blind
movement. And, there will be free food!

 

            Stay posted for an agenda soon. In the meantime, if you're
coming (and I hope you are), please email Ryan Thomas at

Rlt56 at nau.edu

It's very important that he know how many people are coming, so please email
him ASAP.

 

            As I've mentioned before, I am currently in Australia and so
can't attend the seminar this year. Ryan Thomas, our capable first
vice-president, will be running this year's seminar. So, you're in for a
real treat!
