[Arizona-students] What Skills are Needed

It isn't hard, but you do need to be prepared.

In my opinion you need to be able to
travel independently
have a way to independently take notes and read/study them later on
you need to be able to advocate for yourself
you need to be able to hire and use human readers, tutors and any other assistants you might need,
you need to be able to use a computer to do research on the internet, write papers etc.,
you need to be able to arrange to get materials in accessible formats, and/or scan stuff yourself
and you need to have a way to pay for it all.

There is more of course, but ...  Also, many people today rely on disabled student services to do many of these mistakes.  This is a mistake.  They won't be there wen you graduate, so you need to learn this stuff yourself.
