Visitors to the South Mountain Environmental Education Center's can gain new insights into the richness and diversity of the Sonoran Desert.
The museum's displays allow visitors to interpret and understand the Sonoran Desert ecosystem found right outside the center's doors. A series of trails,
including the wheelchair-accessible Judith Tunell trail, adjacent to the Center, mean desert exploration is just a step away. The trail features a Nature
History of the region and Judith Tunell has graciously volunteered to be a Trail Guide for those who wish to walk the Trail.
We requests anyone interested in taking this beautiful & historical hike be there at 8 am SHARP!
Our Pot-Luck Picnics have always been a great success and you can help again
by calling me on my Cell...602.463.7300...and letting me know whatever you'd like to bring!
Hamburgers & Hot Dogs will be provided by our Phoenix Chapter!
Salads, Desserts, Snacks, any other Goodies, etc. are needed!
We are planning some neat FUN Activities which possibly may include Karaoke.
Tables are available outside, but in case of a rare phenomenon such as
'Rain' we'll be kept cool inside and unaffected.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME! THIS IS A SOCIAL EVENT AND A GREAT WAY TO MEET THE BLIND & THEIR FAMILIES & FRIENDS!
NOTE: Phoenix Dial-A-Ride goes directly to the Environmental Building
Address at South Mountain Park.
Also, for Phoenix Chapter Members, please note there will be a short Monthly

MAY THE DAY BE FUN, AND THE NEW FRIENDS WORTHY!
"Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his
head to be superior, but from the side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved." ~Talmud
