[Arizona-students] New Book to be Launched!

I know the NFB Jernigan Institute is far from us in Arizona, but still, this is really cool!

book, Touch the Sun: A NASA Braille Book by astronomy author Noreen Grice.  The event will be on December 2, 2005, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will
feature:

>·       Hands-on, three-dimensional displays and science activities designed by Grice and consultants from NASA.
>·       A brief program and question and answer session with the book's author and other key individuals involved with the development of the book.
>·       Introduction of the star of the event-Touch the Sun.  All blind children and youth attending the event will get a free copy and the opportunity
to ask questions or discuss the book and other astronomy topics with Grice and NASA scientists.
>·       Lunch
>·       An optional after-lunch tour of the International Braille and Technology Center for the Blind (IBTCB).

>There is no charge for the event-you will be the guests of the NFB, NASA, and the Joseph Henry Press.  However, registration is required for an accurate
lunch count and so that we can have enough copies of Touch the Sun available for each blind or visually impaired student present.  You may register by
