[Arizona-students] Upcoming AABS Activities

Hello, students! I hope that everyone is having a good and productive semester.

    I wanted to let you all know that Ben Bloomgren and I signed and submitted the forms requesting that the Arizona Association of Blind Students be registered as an ASU campus organization! I should hear a response from the ASU student organization resource center next week, and I will let you know what I find out. If we are approved, we should be able to pass out literature, sell things, and conduct seminars on one of ASU's campuses.

    Meanwhile, we are planning events for the coming year, and we need your feedback. What did you guys think of last year's activities? What did you like, and what would you want to see improved? Please use this listserv as a way to discuss ways to make AABS better; if you are not on the listserv, please simply reply to this email with your comments. Remember, this organization belongs to all of us, and we want to plan events that everyone is excited about.

    Also, we plan to have a Christmas social either on the evening of December 3 (Saturday) or during the day on December 4 (Sunday). Please reply to this email and let us know which date would be better and also if you would prefer to have the social at a house or at a restaurant. We are thinking of having the social somewhere in Phoenix this year.
