I have been signed up to work at the NFB Store during the mock trial (described below), so everyone should go for me!

>This one is always lots of fun.

Dave

>Greetings Federation Convention Attendees:
>
>The National Association of Blind Lawyers is sponsoring the Eighth Annual Mock Trial. It takes place on Sunday, July 3rd at 4:30 p.m. in the French Room,
Third Floor East Tower of the Galt House Hotel.
>
>This year we will take up an ADA case involving the denial of a day-care license to a blind applicant. The trial is based on several real life cases including
the Carol Coulter Case out of Missouri in the mid 1980's. These cases are still happening today. The basic story line is that a blind person applies
to run a day-care facility out of their home or otherwise, and the state agency in charge of licensing denies the application based on blindness.
>
>Come see your favorite Federation lawyers strut their legal stuff. Even though the topic is incredibly serious with profound implications for the blind
community, we do our best to make the Mock Trial entertaining as well.
>
>Admission to the Trial is $5.00 and benefits the National Association of Blind Lawyers. Join us on Sunday afternoon and observe the Honorable Charles
S. Brown, NFB Treasurer, attempt to keep order over the lawyers, the witnesses, and the crowd.
