Ruth Swenson, President of the NFB of Arizona, has informed me that we still urgently need all of you to call Senator John McCain and request that he support vocational rehabilitation for the blind. If you haven't called yet, it will take you less than a minute. Please call McCain's office at
202-224-2235
and ask to speak with an aide who deals with WIA+ consolidation. Tell this aide that you want Senator McCain to support vocational rehab for the blind and disabled by opposing the inclusion of voc rehab in a WIA+ (Workforce Investment Act) consolidation amendment. We need as many calls as possible, as soon as possible; if you've already called, please tell your family and friends to call him as well.
