Everything is, as near as makes little difference, the same as always, on TheBlanchRanch. I may
have lost the bridge that spans the creek in the River paddock. On one of his rubbernecking
drives, Sam said that he saw something that bore a remarkable resemblance to it floating/racing
down the river. It is of no consequence at the moment, but I will have that checked out later, and
if, indeed it was one of the casualties, will have it replaced .
There have been no repercussions from the Civil Defence/police to my early return home yesterday,
but I did get two people come to my door late this morning, jus to check that I was ok.
re Sam's enquiry as to whether I had received a visit from the CD on Tuesday night and my reply that
I hadn't, my visitors this morning told me that one of the CD had walked past the house, but, seeing
no light: as I said in my previous post, I do turn the hall and utility room light on at night, but
the "walk past" must have been just a moment or two before I performed that, he/she/they did not
take the time to make a door check.
