The purpose of this list is twofold. First, The BLIND KID e-mail list is a sharing of information for people interested in the welfare and development of blind children. secondly, it is a means of communication between the members and supporters of the National Organization of Parents of Blind Children, to promote and discuss the activities of the Division, such as the Braille Readers are Leaders contest Future Reflections, and the like. There will also be occasional posts concerning issues of major importance to the blind as well as announcements concerning activities of the national Organization of Parents of Blind Children and The National Federation of the Blind. This list is moderated by Edwin Zehner and Barbara Cheadle. You should contact them at ezehner@niu.edu or bcheadle@nfb.org respectively with questions or problems concerning the content of the list. To post a message to all the list members, send email to blindkid@nfbnet.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to blindkid
Subscribe to blindkid by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
